From small starts to sun-finished flower, every season is built by hand in the hills of Northern Mendocino County.
Our current dried-flower offering focuses on four HappyDay cultivars: Strawberry Biscotti, Blue Dream, Orange Durban and Purple Cream.

As the plants mature, the visual story opens up: structure, color, resin, density and the late-season light that defines sungrown flower.
When the crop is ready, the work shifts from tending to harvest. Branch by branch, the plants are cut by hand and moved from the garden in field totes. It is a small-farm rhythm: close attention, careful handling, and people working together all the way through the final rows.
The season changes quickly at harvest. Months of growth become a few focused days of cutting, carrying, and bringing the crop in.

The crop is part of a larger farm ecology. Soil biology, water, shade, terrain, biodiversity and people all shape the season.
The daily work is visible in the rows: planting, watering, shaping, checking, moving, repairing and returning again the next day. The farm’s cannabis grows with the same long view applied across the rest of HappyDay Farms.
The season begins with healthy starts, living soil, drip irrigation and direct hand work. Each plant is set into the hillside with room to root, grow and respond to the long Mendocino summer.
